September flew by. Woosh!
I was very busy (as usual!), but this was exceptional. To start with, I finally began recording and filming Youtube videos for my pledgers. 1st one goes to Mr Tan Gek Leng who requested for “Fake Plastic Trees” by Radiohead:
And the 2nd video is a really sweet request from a groom who wanted me to do up any song for his wife, in time for their wedding day on 29 Sept 2012. I chose “Marry Me” by Train cos I really like the intro footage of the original music video. It just gets me into a very romantic mood. 🙂
I still have a couple of Youtube videos which I have to fulfill for those lovely peeps who are supporting my upcoming indie album via Pledgemusic.
As of now it’s 61% with 55 days left to go. I need to reach more than 100% because 1) I need the money to defray cost for the album 2) have excess funds to donate to ‘Food From The Heart‘, a charity organsation which essentially aims to reduce food wastage by having for instance ‘Bread distribution programme’, and having self-collection centres which match food supplies to (currently) more than 4000 beneficiaries.
Another thing that i’ve been working on is the designs for my limited edition Hoomia headphones. Woots!
This is so darn cool i must say. I never expected it, and i really thank the Universe. (And Hoomia)
So I came up with 3 designs for the 3 sets of headphones, and after a week of voting by my Facebook peeps, I’ve decided to go with design #1 and #3.
I’ve done a little tweaking and have just sent the final designs to Hoomia today. Headphones will be ready in 2 weeks’ time, and I’m looking forward to it. I’m not inclined to sell them, cos monetising this kind offer from Hoomia is not what I want. I want to give them away, and I’m still thinkin of the best format to do that 🙂
I’m still working on the new album of originals. And I’m taking my own sweet time now that I’ve decided to postpone the launch to end Feb/early March 2013.
